Experienced CTRS with Bachelors degree or higher in Therapeutic Recreation. |

Duties:
|
Position will provide full range of Recreation Therapy services to veterans receiving care in the Mental Health program at Hines VA. Position will evaluate clients through the use of Comprehensive Leisure Assessments and screening tools, evaluate and document progress and establish and implement meaningful therapeutic activity programs based on the needs and functioning levels of the clients. Position works closely with veteran and community organizations and programs. Requires the ability to work both independently and as a member of a interdisciplinary treatment team. Hours will include day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Compressed schedule may be considered.
